Easy Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

1,800+ views! Wow, thank you so much for following my blog I have a lot of really great recipes lined up for next week so check back.

I found the idea for this recipe on Pinterest, but there was no recipe attached to the picture. Frying dough isn't complicated so we just made it up as we went along.

Ingredients:
-Biscuits
-Oil
-Cinnamon
-Sugar
-Butter, melted.

Cut a hole into the center of the doughnut, roll the leftover dough into a ball.
Fry the doughnuts in two inches of oil on medium heat.
Drain on a paper towel.
Dip in the melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Fry the doughnut holes and dip in butter, roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve.
J and I were surprised at how good these doughnuts turned out. One issue we had was the doughnuts not cooking all the way through, they need to be cooked at a low temperature for a longer period of time as opposed to cooking them quickly at a high temperature in order to help cook the doughnuts throughout.

We chose to top them with cinnamon sugar, but they can easily be frosted or glazed.
